Prizes and Reviews
Batman Begins received nominations for the Oscar and BAFTA, but could not win in any category. The psychological profundity was unanimously praised, but also the resulting clumsiness of the film criticized. Especially towards the end of the movie turns into a magnificent spectacle, but is too loud and the visual violence is high, as the story doesn’t keep up. At the cinemas Batman Begins was a great success and played in 372 million U.S dollars.
